The Western Blue is a butterfly of the family Nymphalidae. It is found from Senegal to Somalia, from Angola  to Kenya and from Sudan  to Egypt. The butterfly's wingspan is between 85-100mm

 

Taxonomic: Charaxes smaragdalis

Common Name: Western Blue

 

Baroque Frame: Black frame and high quality black textured card background. Comes with thin black internal mount/mat with white trim (can be removed)

 

Taxomonic will be on the back, however if you would like it on the front of the frame, please add a comment at checkout. Note: The label will be white and same as the standard frames.

 

Corner Decals: Vintage bronze metal corners which are nailed on by hand

 

Sizing: 20cm x 20cm (Aperture 17cm x 17cm)
