An interesting pair of Metallic wood-boring beetles in a handmade wooden frame mounted on high-quality 300gsm white textured card stock which includes both the scientific and common name of the insect below.
Species of stag beetle in the family Lucanidae found in New Guinea and Papua. This species has sexual dimorphism with males exhibiting sharp pincer like mandibles. Size varies from between 15-60mm.
Taxonomic: Lamprima adolphinae
Common Name: Saw Tooth Beetle (Pair)
Frame: Available in black, white or grey. The frame can either be stood up or wall mounted using the invisible bracket.
Corner Decals: Vintage bronze metal corners which are nailed on by hand on all four corners.
