An interesting Blue Cicada in a handmade wooden frame mounted on high-quality 300gsm white textured card stock which includes both the scientific and common name of the insect below.

The Blue Cicada is a cicada found in China, Thailand, India, Burma, Cambodia, Laos, and Vietnam. It is known in pop culture as the basis for the Cicada 3301 logo. Wingspan is around 110mm.

Taxonomic: Tosena splendida

Common Name: Blue cicada

 

Frame: Available in black, white or grey. Specimens are mounted on 300gsm high quality white textured card stock which includes both the scientific and common name of the insect below. The frame can either be stood up or wall mounted using the invisible bracket.

 

Corner Decals: Vintage bronze metal corners which are nailed on by hand on all four corners.

 

Sizing: 20cm x 20cm (Aperture 17cm x 17cm)
